Disqnect AS, org. nr. 932 953 005, Oslo, Norway

1. Right of Withdrawal (14 Days)

Under Norwegian angrerettloven §§ 20–28 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), physically receives the goods.

How to withdraw

Send an unequivocal statement of withdrawal to theis@disqnect.com. You may use the model withdrawal form in our Terms of Service (Section 10), but it is not obligatory. No approval is required — the right to withdraw is yours by law.

Returning the product

  • Return the device without undue delay and no later than 14 days from your withdrawal notice
  • The device should be in substantially unchanged condition — you may inspect it as you would in a shop
  • Original packaging is appreciated but not required for the withdrawal right
  • You bear the direct cost of returning the goods

Refund on withdrawal

  • We will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days from the day we are informed of your decision to withdraw
  • We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back, or you provide evidence of having sent them, whichever is earlier
  • If you chose a delivery method more expensive than standard, we refund only the cost of standard delivery
  • Refund is issued to your original payment method

You may be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the device.

2. Statutory Consumer Warranty

Under Norwegian forbrukerkjøpsloven and EU Directive 2019/771, you have statutory warranty rights that cannot be excluded or limited by contract. These apply regardless of any other terms.

Complaint period

  • You may complain about defects for up to 5 years from delivery (forbrukerkjøpsloven § 27) — the device is intended to last significantly longer than 2 years
  • You must complain within a reasonable time after discovering the defect (complaining within 2 months is always considered reasonable)

Burden of proof

Any defect appearing within 2 years of delivery is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery (forbrukerkjøpsloven § 18). After 2 years, you may need to demonstrate that the defect was present at delivery.

Your remedies

If the device has a defect covered by the statutory warranty, you are entitled to (forbrukerkjøpsloven §§ 29–33):

  1. Repair or replacement — at our choice, within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you
  2. Price reduction — if repair or replacement is not possible or not carried out in time
  3. Contract cancellation — if the defect is not insignificant and other remedies have failed
  4. Damages — compensation for loss caused by the defect

3. Our 30-Day Guarantee

In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee from the date of delivery. If the device is defective on arrival, not as described, or damaged during shipping, contact us and we will arrange a return at our expense.

This guarantee is in addition to — and does not replace — your statutory withdrawal right (Section 1) or warranty rights (Section 2).

4. How to Return

  1. Contact us at theis@disqnect.com with your order number and reason for return
  2. For withdrawal (Section 1): no reason needed. For defect claims (Section 2): describe the issue so we can assess the best remedy
  3. Ship the device back with all included accessories. We will provide a return shipping label for defect-related returns

Return shipping costs

  • Withdrawal returns: you bear the direct cost of return shipping
  • Defective / not as described / shipping damage: we cover return shipping

5. When We May Decline a Return

We may decline a return or reduce the refund amount if:

  • The device shows evidence of physical damage caused by you (not a manufacturing defect)
  • Unauthorised hardware modifications have been made that caused the issue
  • The withdrawal period has expired and the issue is not covered by the statutory warranty

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights. If we decline a return and you disagree, you may escalate the matter as described in Section 7.

6. International Orders

EU/EEA consumers have the same withdrawal and warranty rights regardless of which country you order from. Your mandatory consumer protection rights under the law of your country of habitual residence are not affected by these terms.

Any customs duties or import taxes on returned goods are your responsibility, unless the return is due to a defect or our error.

7. Complaints and Disputes

If you are not satisfied with our handling of your return or complaint, you may:

  • Contact Forbrukertilsynet (Norwegian Consumer Authority) — for guidance on your consumer rights: forbrukertilsynet.no
  • File a complaint with Forbrukerklageutvalget (Consumer Disputes Commission) — for binding dispute resolution
  • EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/odr

Disputes may also be brought before Oslo tingrett (Oslo District Court). EU/EEA consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their country of domicile in accordance with the Lugano Convention.
